![]() Soldier 76 is a great example of this, as he can constantly be putting damage on her. Characters who can do long term, consistent damage are best at dealing with her. Zarya, thanks to her shields, is very good at tanking through damage. She lacks a mobility skill like the other tanks though, so care must be used with her, or else you'll be caught out and picked apart. Like all other tanks, Zarya works best in close quarters. With proper timing, you can block entire ultimate abilities for both yourself, and an ally. Although short lived, her shields can block all forms of damage. When using Graviton Surge, make sure to tell your allies, as they can capitalize on its use, ensure the enemy team is wiped out.Use it on objective points to have the enemy team sucked up into a ball, then start shooting your particle cannons alternative fire at them. Although not directly powerful, her Ultimate is one of the best in the game. This is because she needs her shields to take damage, so that she can gain a damage buff. She is best played on the front lines, constantly taking damage. While trapped in the surge, enemies take light amounts of damage and cannot move, making them easy targets. There are a lot of things I’m still learning about the game - but if this isn’t meant to be a thing, then at least it’s known.Graviton Surge (Ultimate): Throw out a gravity bomb, that sucks in any enemy that gets near it, trapping them. Like I said, I could have only just seen this yesterday and figured it out. This is directly from the PlayOverwatch Website, so wouldn’t they have put this down that it stops things like Debuffs or DoT (damage over time)'s? “The Particle Cannon can emit a personal barrier that shields Zarya against incoming attacks, redirecting their energy to enhance her weapon’s damage and the width of its beam.” I’m not sure if this one means Ana’s Biotic Grenade too, they just didn’t add it as an example? Totally possible. “While the barrier holds, Zarya is immune to most forms of crowd-control, such as Mei’s Endothermic Blaster freezing effect, Roadhog’s Chain Hook, and the pinning effect of Reinhardt’s Charge.” Incoming effects? The Anti-Heal was on before the barrier was protected…? “As long as Particle Barrier has at least 1 Health worth of absorption left, it will prevent all incoming negative effects, no matter their damage.” I didn’t see anywhere online that spoke about Zarya’s Bubble being able to do this. (I can’t post links here, so you’ll have to copy and paste them without the space between the commas.) Watch the moment it happened here: bit.ly/2I7jemq ( GYAZO LINK) When scrimming last night, I noticed that when I had thrown a Biotic Grenade onto a Reinhardt, Zarya projected her barrier onto him and the anti-healing effect was removed. I could be completely wrong here (either that or I don’t pay enough attention), but how long has it been in the game that Zarya can remove Ana’s Biotic Grenade anti-healing effect from her or any teammate? ![]()
